About Community Table

Community Table is a non-profit organization based in Arvada, Colorado, dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity in our community. Their mission is simple but powerful: "To continually meet the most basic food and nutritional needs of families and individuals within our community."

For over 40 years, Community Table has been a beacon of hope for individuals and families facing hunger. They provide access to nutritious food, fresh produce, and essential resources to thousands of people each year. By sponsoring the Leyden Rock Turkey Trot 5K, we are directly contributing to their mission of making sure no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

The Leyden Rock Turkey Trot 5K is not just a race; it's an opportunity for our community to come together and make a positive impact. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a beginner, this event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. You can choose to run or walk the 5K course, making it a fun activity for the whole family.

Registration and Donations

• Registration Fee: There is a $5.00 registration fee for the event, and the entire amount will be donated to Community Table to support their mission. 

• Donation Matching: I am proud to announce that I will match all registration donations made during the Leyden Rock Turkey Trot 5K. (*up to $250.00) Your donation will have double the impact!

• Food Drive: On the day of the race, we will also be accepting non-perishable food items. Your contribution of food items will help us provide even more support to Community Table and the families they serve.

As a sponsor of the Turkey Trot 5K and resident of Leyden Rock, I am committed to demonstrating our support to Community Table's mission of ending hunger in Arvada. Together with your registration, and generous food donations, and my donation matching, we are helping to provide essential resources, meals, and support to those in need.
